Broadway bound: Producers John N. Hart Jr., Jeff Sine and Fred Zollo have acquired the theatrical rights to “Once” -- the Irish film that earned a songwriting Oscar this year for its stars, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova -- and plan to develop it as a Broadway musical.

New series: Spike TV has ordered a series called “Deadliest Warrior,” which will use computer technology to pit famous warriors of history against one another.
