Texas quarterback Colt McCoy probably convinced a few more nonbelievers in a win over Missouri, and Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and USC’s Mark Sanchez had record-setting games Saturday. However, the day was not kind to Michigan State’s Javon Ringer and Missouri’s Chase Daniel, who both struggled in defeats. A look at their performances and those of other Heisman hopefuls:

COLT McCOY, junior quarterback, Texas

* After last week’s impressive effort in a win over Oklahoma, McCoy made it look even easier in the Longhorns’ blowout victory over Missouri. Stats: 29 for 32 passing for 337 yards, two touchdowns; 11 carries for 23 yards and two touchdowns rushing.

SAM BRADFORD, sophomore quarterback, Oklahoma

* Bradford has been outstanding all season, and he had another great game in the Sooners’ win over Kansas. Stats: 36 for 53 passing for 468 yards, three touchdowns.

MARK SANCHEZ, junior quarterback, USC

* Against an overmatched Washington State defense, Sanchez had his “A” game going as he led the Trojans to an easy victory. Stats: 15 for 20 passing for 253 yards, five touchdowns.

GRAHAM HARRELL, senior quarterback, Texas Tech

* Harrell’s numbers continue to impress and the Red Raiders remained undefeated with a win over Texas A&M.; Stats: 44 for 56 for 450 yards passing, three touchdowns with two interceptions; three carries for four yards and two touchdowns rushing.

DARYLL CLARK, junior quarterback, Penn State

* Clark may not be flashy, but he made enough plays to lead the Nittany Lions to a win over Michigan. Stats: 18 for 31 passing for 171 yards and one touchdown; nine carries for 45 yards and two touchdowns rushing.

CHASE DANIEL, senior quarterback, Missouri

* Daniel can probably kiss his Heisman dreams goodbye after the Tigers’ lopsided loss at Texas. Stats: 31 for 41 passing for 318 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

JAVON RINGER, senior running back, Michigan State

* The day after Ringer’s Heisman Trophy website made its debut, Ohio State’s defense shut him down in a win over the Spartans. Stats: 16 carries for 67 yards; six catches for 19 yards.

TIM TEBOW, junior quarterback, Florida

* Idle.
