Willner concert is canceled

Hal Willner’s Stay Awake concert, which had been scheduled for Oct. 30 at Royce Hall, has been canceled because some key performers pulled out for personal reasons, UCLA officials said.

The event was commemorating the 1988 release of “Stay Awake: Various Interpretations of Music From Vintage Disney Films,” featuring Willner-produced versions of Disney songs performed by Los Lobos, Bonnie Raitt and others. Refunds are available from the UCLA Central Ticket Office.
