No. 25 Minnesota 17, at Purdue 6: Adam Weber passed for a touchdown and ran for another at West Lafayette, Ind., to lead the Golden Gophers (7-1, 3-1) over the Boilermakers (2-6, 0-4), who lost star quarterback Curtis Painter to injury in the first half. Weber passed for 212 yards and ran for 60. Painter hurt his throwing shoulder in the first quarter and left the game.

Michigan State 35, at Michigan 21: Javon Ringer’s second touchdown broke a tie midway through the fourth quarter and Brian Hoyer’s third touchdown pass padded the lead, lifting the Spartans (7-2, 4-1) over the Wolverines (2-6, 1-3) at Ann Arbor. Michigan State had not knocked off its rival since 2001 and was winless at the Big House since 1990.

at Indiana 21, Northwestern 19: Ben Chappell had 219 yards passing and a touchdown and rushed for another score, and the Hoosiers (3-5, 1-4) beat the Wildcats (6-2, 2-2) at Bloomington to end a five-game losing streak. Indiana ended a four-game losing streak to Northwestern, which had five turnovers, including three fumbles, and lost for the second time in three games.

at Wisconsin 27, Illinois 17: Dustin Sherer threw two touchdowns to David Gilreath and ran for another score, rallying the Badgers (4-4, 1-4) over the Illini (4-4, 2-3) at Madison to end a four-game losing streak, Wisconsin’s longest in 12 years. The Badgers intercepted three of quarterback Juice Williams’ passes.
