No. 2 Alabama 29, at Tennessee 9: John Parker Wilson passed for 188 yards and ran for a touchdown as the Crimson Tide (8-0, 5-0) cruised past the Volunteers (3-5, 1-4) at Knoxville. Alabama recorded its first consecutive wins over Tennessee in the series since 1991-92. Alabama, the SEC’s best rushing team, went to the air in the first half, gaining 117 yards compared to 32 on the ground. Overall, Alabama outgained Tennessee, 366-173.

at No. 5 Florida 63, Kentucky 5: Tim Tebow threw two touchdown passes, ran for two scores and the Gators (6-1, 4-1) thumped the injury-depleted Wildcats (5-3, 1-3) at Gainesville to extend their winning streak in the series to 22 games.

Mississippi 23, at Arkansas 21: Jevan Snead threw two touchdown passes, and the Rebels (4-4, 2-3) held off a rally by the Razorbacks (3-5, 1-4) at Fayetteville to give Coach Houston Nutt a win over his former team.

Duke 10, at Vanderbilt 7: Nick Maggio kicked a 42-yard field goal in the third quarter after the Blue Devils (4-3) failed on two earlier attempts and held on to beat the Commodores (5-3) at Nashville.

at Mississippi State 31, Middle Tennessee 22: Anthony Dixon rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (3-5) over the Blue Raiders (2-6) at Starkville.
