vs. DC United, 8, FSC, FSE

Site -- Home Depot Center.

Radio -- 1150, 1330 (Spanish).

Records -- Galaxy 6-10-8, United 10-11-3.

Record vs. United -- 0-1-0.

Update -- Still seeking his first win as Galaxy coach, Bruce Arena comes up against DC United, the team he led to MLS titles in 1996 and 1997. Los Angeles is on a club-record 12-game winless skid, and a loss would almost certainly put a playoff wild-card spot out of reach. Los Angeles is coming off a 2-0 loss at Kansas City in a game in which it managed only two shots on target. “No one likes losing,” David Beckham said after that game, “and we’ve gone a long time without winning a game.” The Galaxy has only five games left after tonight, and two are against defending MLS champion Houston, the Western Conference leader, and the Columbus Crew, which, under former Galaxy coach Sigi Schmid, leads the East and has the best record in the league.
