Bob Dylan confirmed on his website Wednesday that he would issue his first Christmas album in early October, the charity-benefiting “Christmas in the Heart.”

A full track list wasn’t revealed, but initial songs released show that Dylan is going in a relatively traditional route with such standards as “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Must Be Santa.”

The album will be released via Columbia Records, and proceeds in the United States will benefit Feeding America.

Dylan, 68, recently scored his fifth No. 1 album with “Together Through Life.” Since its release in late April, it has sold more than 300,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
