Chris D. and Mary Woronov at La Luz de Jesus Gallery

The yowling frontman of L.A. swamp punk outfit the Flesh Eaters, onetime Slash fanzine scribe and current Yakuza film authority Chris D. will present and sign the new compendium of his poems, lyrics and stories, “A Minute to Pray, a Second to Die.” Joining him will be author, cult actress (“Eating Raoul,” “Rock and Roll High School”) and Warhol muse Mary Woronov, whose most recent book is the collection of short stories “Blind Love.” 6 p.m. Sat.
