USC up next VS. WESTERN MICHIGAN Tuesday, 2 p.m. PST, at Honolulu: USC faces Western Michigan (3-4) in the first round of the inaugural Diamond Head Classic. Western Michigan has three starters back from a team that finished 10-21 last year and is led by guard David Kool, who averages 21.7 points a game. The winner will play the winner of a game between Northeastern and St.Mary’s on Wednesday, with the losers facing off earlier in the day.
