Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies continued their search Sunday for a silver or white truck in connection with the killing of two 18-year-olds in San Jacinto, officials said.

The shooting took place shortly after 7 p.m Saturday, according to a statement from the Sheriff’s Department. An officer patrolling in the area of Main Street heard several gunshots coming from the west, the statement said. He drove to the scene and found two men shot and lying on the pavement in the 100 block of Estudillo Avenue.

The men, whose names were withheld pending notification of relatives, were pronounced dead at hospitals.

Witnesses reported seeing several people in a silver or white full-size truck. One of the truck’s occupants fired the deadly shots, according to the statement.

No suspects have been identified and the truck has not been found.
