Heat ends 10-game skid against Magic
Dwyane Wade scored 27 points, Mario Chalmers had 20 and the Miami Heat ended a 10-game losing streak against the Orlando Magic with a 103-97 victory Saturday night.
Udonis Haslem had two big baskets down the stretch for Miami, which held on after wasting a 15-point lead entering the fourth quarter. The Heat had four turnovers, an all-time franchise low, and dealt Orlando its second straight loss.
“It’s very satisfying to get this one,” Wade said. “We had to prove to ourselves, once again, that we can beat the elite teams.”
Dwight Howard had 22 points and 10 rebounds for Orlando, which had the NBA’s best record earlier in the week but dropped to 33-10.
