Update: Chivas USA will be without defender Jonathan Bornstein and midfielder Sacha Kljestan, who are with the U.S. team for tonight’s World Cup qualifier against Honduras in Chicago. Coach Preki’s team will also be minus suspended captain and midfielder Jesse Marsch, as well as half a dozen injured players. Seattle, which has tied each of its last five games, has lost forward Jarrod Smith, who will be playing for New Zealand against Botswana in a friendly international. Coach Sigi Schmid will be without suspended defender Tyrone Marshall. Chivas lost backup goalkeeper Dan Kennedy for the season on Wednesday when he underwent surgery on his right knee.
