Revolution, Wizards tie, 1-1

New England Revolution defender Darrius Barnes deflected in Hercules Gomez’s cross in the 85th minute for an own goal to give the Kansas City Wizards a 1-1 draw in a SuperLiga game Wednesday at Foxborough, Mass.

Kheli Dube scored for New England, which dominated most of the game despite playing a man short for the last 55 minutes after Michael Videira was sent off for an elbow to the head of Aaron Hohlbein.

The Revolution plays host to Atlas of Mexico on Sunday and the Wizards play host to Santos Laguna of Mexico.

Santos Laguna 0, Atlas 0 -- Atlas has yet to score or give up a goal in the tournament. Santos Laguna picked up its first point.

Atlas carried the play for most of the first half that featured few scoring chances. But Santos Laguna defender Christian Sanchez and Atlas striker Hebert Alferez both left after cracking heads in a violent collision early in the game at Foxborough.

Mexico 4, Venezuela 0 -- Giovani Dos Santos scored twice and set up another in a friendly in Atlanta. Mexico plays a friendly against Guatemala on Sunday in San Diego.

Sol 2, St. Louis 1 -- Han Duan and Marta scored for the winners in a Women’s Professional Soccer game at Fenton, Mo.
