Re “A pageant that’s not afraid to get dirty,” March 2

Note to self: Never go to Dorchester County, Md. Any community that glorifies the killing of innocent animals is no place I’d want to be. (As a University of Maryland alumnus, I’m especially horrified.) It is well documented that serial killers often get their “practice” on animals.

It is baffling that hunters, rodeo participants and vivisectors get a free pass to abuse so indiscriminately.
