Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, including the game-sealing three-point shot with 34 seconds left, and the Miami Heat held on to beat the Boston Celtics, 107-99, Wednesday night.

Miami had a 15-point lead early in the final period, only to see it trimmed to one on Eddie House’s three-pointer with 4:52 left.

So Wade went to work, scoring five straight points for the Heat, setting Jermaine O’Neal up for four others, and Miami ultimately escaped.

Ray Allen hit his first six shots and finished with 27 for Boston, which fell two games behind Cleveland for the East’s best record. The Celtics played without Kevin Garnett (sprained right knee) and Rajon Rondo (sprained right ankle).
