Talk about change

Great to see that Staples Center has been mostly empty for the first rounds of the Pacific Life tournament. Maybe organizers now will reconsider marching to the beat of a corporate sponsor, begin thinking of the league’s fans move the site of the Pac-10 tournament among the four states each year -- one site in Washington and Oregon and two in both Arizona (Phoenix and Tucson) and California (Bay Area and L.A.). That would finally take away the gigantic UCLA home advantage and bring the tournament to the fans and to full houses. Same old, same old Staples scene is a gigantic inconvenience and bore for fans in the other league states.
