Two more of Nadya Suleman’s octuplets, girls Maliyah Angel and Nariyah Angel, were quietly discharged Saturday afternoon from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower.

A Kaiser spokesperson said the girls each weighed about 5 pounds 2 ounces. The babies are being bottle-fed, are gaining weight and can maintain their body temperature, according to a Kaiser statement.

“It’s an important milestone in the care of the octuplets,” said Dr. Mandhir Gupta, a neonatologist at Kaiser. “Each day these babies bring joy to our staff.”

Two boys, Noah and Isaiah, were released Tuesday and were greeted by swarms of onlookers and paparazzi as they arrived at their new La Habra house. Some paparazzi even jumped onto the SUV as it pulled into the driveway. Suleman has six other children.

Also Saturday, Radar Online posted a new interview with Suleman, in which she said that all 14 of her children were fathered by the same man, a “good friend, a platonic friend.” She did not identify the man but said he is an immigrant who lives in California.

She said that when she told him about the new babies (at the time, she thought she was carrying septuplets), “he was speechless. He was angry at the doctor, like everyone else.”
