Seeing four Chinese cities on a 10-day, eight-night tour will keep you hopping. But at this price, it’s hard to resist.
The deal: The “China Impressions” package from Pacific Delight Tours, which visits Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Xian, starts at $1,599 per person, double occupancy. The price includes round-trip international airfare from Los Angeles or San Francisco, internal flights, lodging, guided tours and most meals. It excludes airline ticket taxes and fees up to $120. You must book and pay a $300-per-person deposit by May 31 to get this deal, which applies to several travel dates in September and October and is subject to availability. The hotels include New World Hotel Beijing, New World Hotel Xian and Hua Ting Hotel & Towers in Shanghai. Tour highlights include the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, life-sized ancient terra-cotta warrior figures and a cruise on the Grand Canal in Suzhou.
