Jude Law and his fellow cast mates in Broadway’s production of “Hamlet” have no reason to be melancholy: They are an official hit.

Producers of the Shakespeare classic now playing at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York said Wednesday they’ve recouped the show’s $2.5-million cost in less than three months.

The production began performances Sept. 12 and plays until Dec. 6.
