GAME OF DAY : MILWAUKEE 129, GOLDEN STATE 125 : Rookie Jennings has 55 for Bucks
Rookie Brandon Jennings scored 55 points, including 29 in the third quarter, to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 129-125 victory Saturday over the Golden State Warriors.
Jennings scored 10 points in the final 2:15 to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s franchise rookie record of 51 and become only the third Bucks player to score more than 50. Michael Redd set the franchise record with 57 points vs. Utah on Nov. 11, 2006.
Jennings scored 15 consecutive points in one stretch during the third quarter to help the Bucks overcome a nine-point deficit.
