Timberwolves stun Nuggets to end 15-game losing streak
Ryan Gomes scored 27 points Sunday night, and the Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a 15-game losing streak with a stunning 106-100 road victory over the Denver Nuggets.
Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn each scored 16 points in helping Minnesota rally from 17 points down in the first half and register their first win since a season-opening win against New Jersey.
Carmelo Anthony matched a season-high with 19 points in the first quarter and finished with 32 for Denver, which lost to Minnesota for the first time in 11 meetings.
