Panthers...20 Redskins...17
Key: The Panthers scored the final 18 points, including the deciding touchdown after a bizarre fumbled punt gave them the ball at the Washington 12. Carolina’s Quinton Teal blocked Byron Westbrook into returner Antwaan Randle El, which was ruled a legal play because Randle El had moved forward to catch the short punt. The ball bounced off Westbrook’s foot and Carolina’s Dante Wesley pounced on the loose football.
