You haven’t lived until you . . .

What have you done lately? Diddit (notice the extra D in the name) helps you keep track of previous adventures and, like your new best friend, urges you to get started on the next cool experience on your agenda.

What’s hot: Get inspired to try new experiences you never dreamed of until you saw them checked off someone else’s list. Diddit not only provides inspiration for your next holiday but also offers a way to brag about cool trips you have taken. Use the “browse” button to skim through 20 interest channels. If you see something you’ve already done -- visiting the Louvre or walking over the Golden Gate Bridge -- add a check mark to it. If it’s something you still want to do, add a star. Note that Diddit has a breadth of experiential categories; travelers might want to start with “Travel & Sightseeing,” “The Great Outdoors” or “Arts & Culture” categories. When you look up an activity, you’ll also find information, pictures and websites related to your interest. There are lots of social tools too if you want to share what you find or tell stories about your experiences. Going to the “Countries Visited” section is a great way to get started too.

What’s not: This site isn’t as user-friendly as it seems. Essentially it’s people listing what they’ve done and what they want to do and talking to one another about it, but it can be overwhelming and a big-time strain, especially if you want to read other people’s lists and try to get to know them. I say play with it in small doses and don’t get mad if an hour goes by and you haven’t completed your bucket list.
