Up next for Clippers: Saturday at Denver
Clippers tonight
AT DENVER
When: 6 PDT
Where: Pepsi Center.
On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 980.
Records: Clippers 27-48, Nuggets 49-27.
Record vs. Nuggets: 1-1.
Update: Big-picture question ... and, yes, unanswerable. What would have happened if the Clippers had lost that nationally televised game to the Nuggets on Nov. 20? Instead, they won and GM/Coach Mike Dunleavy ended up staying on the bench for a little more than two more months. The Nuggets, who have lost just six times in 37 home games, aren’t exactly surging in the homestretch, winning four of their last 10 games. Meanwhile, the Clippers have won once on the road since Feb. 2. Baron Davis (back spasms) remains in Los Angeles, and shooting guard Eric Gordon is struggling in a big way on this trip, going a combined five for 26 from the field at Milwaukee and Toronto.
