The Kings clinched a playoff spot Sunday and can end the Ducks’ playoff hopes by beating them. The Ducks can also be eliminated if Colorado wins at Vancouver. The Ducks beat the Kings, 2-1, in a shootout Saturday at Staples Center. Kings forward Jeff Halpern (upper body) skated Monday but won’t play. The Ducks are 4-0-1 in their last five and 8-2-1 in their last 11, but their slow start this season and 0-4-1 post-Olympic slump did them in. Center Saku Koivu has four goals and eight points in his last three games. Linemate Teemu Selanne has three goals and nine points in his last six games. Center Ryan Getzlaf (ankle) and goalie Jonas Hiller (back spasms) skated Monday and are day to day.
