Update: With several of its players still on their way back from international games, Chivas USA will play the Seattle Sounders with a makeshift lineup. Defender Jonathan Bornstein had a light practice Thursday after returning from the U.S. national team’s friendly with Brazil in New Jersey, defender Michael Umana is still en route to California from a Costa Rica match in Asuncion, Paraguay, and Giancarlo Maldonado is in transit from a match against Panama in Venezuela. Chivas USA Coach Martin Vasquez said he is prepared to play with those who stayed behind but could make changes before Saturday.
