DENVER — Niklas Kronwall scored the game-winner with 1:18 remaining in overtime and Chris Osgood stopped a season-high 46 shots in the Detroit Red Wings’ 4-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night to become the 10th goalie in NHL history to reach 400 wins.

Nicklas Lidstrom, Jiri Hudler and Johan Franzen also scored for the Red Wings, who have won three of their last four games.

Osgood was swarmed by teammates after reaching the milestone win. The 17-year veteran has 316 of his wins with the Red Wings.

Matt Duchene scored twice for Colorado and T.J. Galiardi added another. The Avalanche has dropped three straight games.

Kronwall scored the winner on a power play following a tripping call on Colorado goalie Peter Budaj.

Late in the third period, Lidstrom beat Budaj with a low wrist shot that looked as if it just might hold up.

But Duchene tied it up with 2:36 remaining when he knocked in a rebound on a power play.

Osgood came up big all game, but no more than in the second period when he stopped one point-blank shot after another to keep the game tied at 2-2. He finished with 23 saves in the period, including solid backhanded attempts by Philippe Dupuis and Adam Foote.

So good was Osgood during a stretch in the middle portion of the period that the Red Wings fans in attendance at Pepsi Center began chanting “Ozzie,” which was quickly greeted by a round of boos.
