‘Tea party’ activists: An article in Section A on Jan. 25 about the internal disputes of the conservative “tea party” movement said that the vast majority of the $1.3 million that was raised from July to November by the group Tea Party Express went to a Sacramento consulting firm. In fact, most of the money paid to Russo, Marsh and Rogers was used to pay for vendors and advertising. The firm was paid about $100,000 in fees and commissions in that period.

UCLA medical building: A story in Monday’s Business section about the Regents of the University of California signing a $147-million lease for a new medical building in Santa Monica misquoted Dr. David Feinberg, chief executive of UCLA Hospital System. His published quote about Santa Monica Hospital read, “When we bought it we thought it we be a community hospital.” It should have said, “When we bought it we thought it would be a community hospital.”

‘Looped’: An article in Section A on Saturday about the upcoming closure of the Pasadena Playhouse referred to “Looped” as a one-woman play about actress Tallulah Bankhead. Michael Mulheren and Brian Hutchison also appear in the show.

George Tiller trial: An article in Saturday’s Section A about the murder conviction of Scott Roeder in the death of Dr. George Tiller said Tiller was the eighth abortion provider since 1993 to be killed by antiabortion extremists. He was the fourth doctor and the eighth person.
