Ellis scores 46 in a losing effort
Jason Terry had 21 points, Dirk Nowitzki scored nine of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and the Dallas Mavericks extended Golden State’s losing streak to seven games, beating the Warriors, 110-101, on Wednesday night.
Monta Ellis, who scored a career-high 46 points, drove for a layup to bring the Warriors to 95-92 with 5:11 left. Nowitzki, who had his right thumb wrapped late in the third quarter, scored the next six points to help the Mavericks end a three-game losing streak.
