* About Georgia Tech: The Yellow Jackets won the Atlantic Coast Conference largely on the strength of their running game, which ranks second nationally (307.2 yards per game). In his second season, Coach Paul Johnson has proved that the triple-option can still be successful on the college level.
* About Iowa: The Hawkeyes aren’t flashy -- especially their offense, which ranks 93rd in the nation -- but they play terrific defense and are as physically tough as any team in the nation. Senior linebacker Pat Angerer ranks fifth in the nation with 135 tackles.
