Susan Kennedy: An article in Sunday’s Section A on Susan Kennedy, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s chief of staff, said that the governor obtained changes to the state workers’ compensation system during her first year with the administration in 2006. Those changes occurred in 2004, before she arrived.

Ethics probe: The headline on an article in Thursday’s Section A on at least 26 California lawmakers being investigated by the state’s political watchdog, the Fair Political Practices Commission, said they were fined for taking gifts. The lawmakers were fined for failing to disclose that they had accepted the gifts from lobbying groups.

Thyroid self-tests: An article about at-home medical tests in Health on Aug. 31 said that Mary Shomon checks her own thyroid levels using a thyroid test kit she orders over the Internet. The article, which identified Shomon as an author of several books on thyroid disease, should have noted that she receives a commission from some thyroid tests sold online.

“Sins of My Father”: The Big Picture column in Tuesday’s Calendar section, in describing the current life of Sebastian Marroquin, the subject of the documentary “Sins of My Father,” said it had been 15 years since the death of his father, Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. It has been 16 years.
