Art: Jorge Pardo’s ‘Bulgogi’ mixes media, life at Gagosian Gallery
- Share via
The L.A. artist Jorge Pardo’s work fuses art, design and architecture in an idiosyncratic, cross-pollinating, genre-busting mix that seeks to dissolve the boundaries between the gallery and “everything else,” a.k.a. life — the bustling, complex world outside the gallery space. For his new exhibition, “Bulgogi,” Pardo created a domestic space composed of rugs and wallpaper of his own design, “fan paintings” and a jewelry cabinet overflowing with baubles. Gagosian Gallery, 456 N. Camden Drive, Beverly Hills. Opens Fri. (310) 271-9400. https://www.gagosian.com.
