Human Target: After he and Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) race to rescue the kidnapped Winston (Chi McBride), an eager-to-retire Chance (Mark Valley) is lured back into the security business by a billionaire philanthropist (Indira Varma) who needs his protection, in the season premiere (8 p.m. Fox).

CSI: NY: When a young woman appears to have been strangled while participating in an anonymous Internet chat, the team must determine if it was a hoax or murder in this new episode (9 p.m. CBS).

Teach: Tony Danza: This new unscripted series follows Tony Danza as he takes a job at Philadelphia’s Northeast High School as a 10th-grade English teacher during the 2009-10 school year (10 p.m. A&E).

Beyond Survival With Les Stroud: Les tracks game in the Arctic with Inuit hunters in this new episode (10 p.m. Discovery).

Todd Margaret: In the series premiere, Todd (David Cross) is placed in charge of an energy drink in Britain. (10 p.m. IFC).

MOVIES

Old-school vampire marathon: Christopher Lee launched one of his signature roles as the bloodsucking count in “Horror of Dracula,” a1958 adaptation of Bram Stoker’s famous yarn. Peter Cushing also stars as Dr. Van Helsing (5 p.m. TCM). Cushing repeats that role in the 1960 sequel, “Brides of Dracula” (6:30 p.m.), and Lee returns in the 1966 follow-up, “Dracula, Prince of Darkness” (8 p.m.), and again in 1969’s “Dracula Has Risen From the Grave” at 9:45 p.m.

SPORTS

Baseball: The Angels visit the Texas Rangers (5 p.m. FSN); the Arizona Diamondbacks visit the Dodgers (7 p.m. FS Prime).
