Update: Like USC, which nearly dug itself out of a 20-point hole against Oregon on Thursday, the Beavers faced a huge deficit on the same day, trailing UCLA by 17. Both came close, but failed to complete a comeback. USC lost both meetings to Oregon State last season, scoring just 45 and 44 points. Sophomore guard Jared Cunningham leads Oregon State in scoring (14.6). The Beavers’ 1980-81 team, which finished with a 26-2 record, will be honored during the game.
