The Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M., is offering 50% off room rates in a two-day sale that started Wednesday.

The deal: The resort is a series of 13 lodges, some dating to 1915, with a lot of history. It’s a ranch-style spread on 450 acres at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains about three miles from downtown Santa Fe.

In this sale, you pay for rooms in full at the time of booking and the payment is nonrefundable. So make sure that you reserve the dates you want. If you book online, use the code “J48S.”

When: This sale started at 7 a.m. PST Wednesday and will end at 4 p.m. PST Thursday. It applies to stays through Dec. 31, based on availability.

Tested: I found the sale rate for a traditional room with a king bed. (“Traditional,” as defined on the hotel’s website, is a room in one of the oldest buildings.) The discounted room rate was $170 plus tax per night for a stay April 7 to 9.
