Let’s face it - Vegas’ entertainment options can seem a little ... Millennial.
Whether it’s Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys or Ricky Martin residencies, or long, half-naked lines at the ultra lounge, the focus seems less and lesson classic acts that made music legendary prior to 1990. But fear not, print media readers, Vegas has you covered with Boomer-approved shows that will have you waving a lighter like it’s the summer of ’69.
Santana shreds
House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay is home to rockin’ residencies that prove great music never grows old, even if its fans have. “An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live,” returning Wednesday and Friday through Sunday Sept. 13 to 24 and Nov. 1 to 12, The evening not only features Carlos Santana performing his greatest hits, including “Oye Como Va” and “Maria Maria,” but also showcases his impressive guitar-playing skills as he jams along with his band, ensuring no two shows are ever the same.
