Charles Caporale has joined Innovative Card as chief financial officer. Arrowhead Research named Larry Stambaugh has been appointed as president and chief executive officer of two subsidiaries. First Republic Bank appointed Norma Arujo managing director of its Century City office.

Los Angeles-based Innovative Card Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:INVC) announced that Charles Caporale has joined the company as chief financial officer effective October 29, 2007. Caporale replaces Bennet P. Tchaikovsky, who will serve as a consultant during the transition. Caporale comes to InCard most recently from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, where he worked alongside Steven R. Delcarson, who was recently appointed chief executive officer of Innovative Card Technologies.

Pasadena-based Arrowhead Research Corporation (NASDAQ:ARWR) announced today that Larry G. Stambaugh has been appointed as president and chief executive officer of two of its majority-owned subsidiaries, Calando Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Insert Therapeutics, Inc., and that a merger between the two companies is being pursued. Stambaugh is the former chairman, CEO and co-founder for Maxim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

San Francisco-based First Republic Bank announced that Norma Arujo has been appointed managing director. Arujo will work with high net worth individuals and families, providing private banking, private business banking, investment management and trust services, and real estate lending at the Century City office.
