Buying a hybrid? Here are some things to think about [video]

Share

Are hybrids worth their price tag?

Autos reporter Jerry Hirsch takes a look at that question in this video and in his Los Angeles Times Business section story Sunday.

Hirsch compares two wagons in this video, the Prius v hybrid and the Volkswagen Jetta diesel, to give an idea about the cost, comfort and driveability issues to think about before you head out to a dealer.
