Google to sell unlocked Galaxy S 4 smartphones with ‘stock Android’
Google will be begin selling an unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 next month that runs on the latest version of the Android mobile operating system.
The smartphone is targeted for consumers who prefers not to have the Android OS modified by the phone’s manufacturer. Typically, Samsung loads its smartphones with a modified version of Android that includes its own software and interface design, but the unlocked Google version of the GS4 will run on “stock Android,” or Android as Google originally designed it.

The unlocked GS4 will be available from the Google Play digital store starting June 26 for $650.
Google said the device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the most recent version of the operating system. It will work with AT&T; and T-Mobile networks.
