After renovating his San Diego home, former San Francisco Giants slugger Aubrey Huff is looking to score a sale.

The two-time World Series champion has relisted the five-bedroom house in the Rancho Pacifica neighborhood for $4.4 million. A year ago he was asking $4.1 million, records show.

Set on a one-acre lot, the Mediterranean-style home stretches to slightly more than 8,100 square feet.

An arched doorway leads to a formal entry, where a fireplace sits behind a pair of stone pillars that frame the vaulted living room. Across the way, large windows let light into the dining area, while the chef’s kitchen features marble counter tops, a massive island and wood cabinetry.

An indoor-outdoor living room leads to a spacious patio, where palm trees and landscaping line a pool with a waterfall. Other outdoor amenities include a basketball court, in-ground trampoline and fire pit.

The master suite takes up an entire wing of the single-level home, holding a raised spa tub, dual walk-in closets and a wet bar. The suite also contains one of the four stone fireplaces in the house.

A secondary bedroom sits adjacent, with a wood-paneled office down the hall. On the other side, the three bedrooms in the secondary wing have walk-in closets and bathrooms of their own.

Huff bought the home four years ago for $3.7 million, according to public records.

Tracy Weaver of Coldwell Banker Residential holds the listing.

Huff, 40, played for five teams during his 13-year career, winning two World Series titles with the San Francisco Giants. A right-handed thrower but left-handed batter, he ripped 242 home runs during his MLB tenure and won a Silver Slugger Award in 2008.
