DJ and keyboardist Chris Kilmore of the alt-rock band Incubus has listed his Topanga home, with plenty of room for vinyl, for sale at $1.599 million.

The musician bought the gated Mediterranean more than a decade ago for $815,000 and tuned up the interiors with a mix of classic and contemporary touches. Bright hues, lighted tray ceilings and Spanish tile and hardwood floors are among details of note.

A great room topped with rustic beams has a decorative tile fireplace, and a den/office currently holds Kilmore’s record collection. A renovated chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room and a theater room are also within more than 3,900 square feet of interiors.

The master bedroom was updated with a lavish bath complete with a soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower. A sun room sits off the master bathroom.

There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms in all.

Glass doors off the dining area slide to reveal a spa with a stacked-stone water feature. An outdoor fireplace, a built-in barbecue and a putting green complete the scenic setting.

Tenny Crawford of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, holds the listing.

Kilmore, also known as DJ Kilmore, joined Incubus in the late 1990s and has been involved with five of the band’s seven studio albums. He has also written soundtrack material for the film “Little Nicky” and the TV series “Conan.”
