Brooklyn Nets guard-forward Joe Johnson, who will earn $23.2 million for the upcoming NBA season, has put his mansion-estate in Atlanta up for lease at $25,000 a month.

The European-style contemporary, designed by Bill Harrison and built in 2000, features large formal spaces, a home theater, a studio, a hair salon and an elevator in more than 13,800 square feet of living space. The master retreat includes his and hers bathrooms, a sitting room and a fireplace.

Mixing contemporary and Old World style, the dining room sports plank hardwood flooring, ceiling and wall treatments. A large wet bar spans two rooms in the terrace level of the home, which opens onto a patio area with an infinity-edge pool.

The 33-year-old, now in his 14th season, has played for the Celtics, Suns, Hawks and Nets, making seven NBA All-Star teams. He averaged 15.8 points per game in 79 contests for Brooklyn last year.

Since he was dealt by the Hawks to the Nets in 2012, Johnson has tried repeatedly to sell the 1.7-acre property he purchased in 2005 for $3.8 million. In addition to the lease price, the mansion currently lists for sale at $4.7 million.

Lisa Robinson of The Robinson Realty Group is the listing agent.
