Kesha lands house with studio in Venice

Share

Singer-songwriter Kesha spent $1.65 million recently on a house in Venice.

The Spanish-style bungalow, built in 1926, features arched entryways, dining and living rooms, a breakfast area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and slightly more than 1,400 square feet of living space. French doors off the master suite open to the backyard, which has a spa and a fireplace.

The detached one-car garage has been converted into an artist studio.

Kesha, 27, co-wrote the songs for her albums “Animal” (2010) and “Warrior” (2012) and has written for other singers including Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus. Among her biggest hits are “Tik Tok” and “Die Young.” She is on ABC’s singing competition show “Rising Star.”

The property previously sold in 2007 for $1.3 million.

Matthew Irmas and Mitchell P. Wallis of Partners Trust were the listing agents. Peter Lorimer of Peter Lorimer Group Estates represented Kesha.
