Getting an early start to his off-season is former Angels first baseman-outfielder Mark Trumbo, now with the Arizona Diamondbacks, who has listed his home in Phoenix for sale at $1.899 million.

The ranch-style residence, updated in 2013, occupies more than half an acre in Arcadia with wide views of Camelback Mountain. Interiors by Two Hawks Design include plank hardwood flooring, custom fixtures and crown molding.

Among features is a formal living room with a fireplace, a game room and a mud room. The master suite has a large bathroom with twin vanities, a soaking tub and a walk-in closet. In all, the floor plan counts five bedrooms and 3.5 baths in 4,600 square feet of living space.

Outdoors, a covered patio overlooks the pool area, which has a sun deck and a 12-person spa. A basketball half-court, chipping bunkers and a putting green also are on the landscaped grounds.

The 28-year-old slugger was dealt by the Angels to the Diamondbacks last off-season as part of a three-team trade that brought pitchers Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs to Anaheim. He batted .235 with 14 home runs in his first season with Arizona.

Trumbo purchased the home in February for $1.57 million, public records show. Zachary Cates of West USA Realty Revelation is the listing agent.
