Getting a jump on his off-season, San Diego Chargers offensive lineman Orlando Franklin has put his home in Poway up for sale at $2.2 million.
Franklin, who signed with the Chargers as a free agent last year, bought the house about nine months ago for $1.895 million, records show.
Built in 2004, the Mediterranean-style home in the Old Winery Estates sits on more than an acre of resort-like grounds with a swimming pool, a gazebo, a horseshoe pit and an outdoor fireplace.
The single-story home, with exposed wood beams and stone and hardwood floors, has a center-island kitchen and an office/den. There are fireplaces in the living room, great room and master bedroom.
A total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms are within the 6,500 square feet of living space.
There’s also a four-car garage.
Franklin, 28, started 10 games at guard for San Diego last season, his first with the team. A five-year veteran, he spent his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos.
Seth O’Byrne of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
