Buyer pays a pretty penny for actress Shay Mitchell’s place
Numbers don’t lie. Actress Shay Mitchell of “Pretty Little Liars” is sitting pretty after selling her home in the Beverly Grove area for more than its asking price. She ended up getting $1.95 million -- almost 3% above her $1.895 million asking price.
The picture-perfect Spanish-style house, built in 1931, has updated interiors while details such as arched doorways and coffered ceiling retain a vintage ambience.
The single-story home has a redesigned kitchen featuring subway tile. One room was converted into a dressing room/closet complete with a wall for jewelry, shoe cubbyholes and a cabinet for handbags.
A high-ceiling living room, a formal dining room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms are within the 2,041 square feet of living space. A converted garage serves as both home office and gym.
A flagstone-surrounded swimming pool with a spa sits off a covered patio in the backyard.
Mitchell, 28, has starred on “Pretty Little Liars” since 2010. Season 6 will start in June.
She bought the property three years ago for $1.35 million.
Christopher Dyson of the Agency was the listing agent. Zack Gleitman of GF Properties represented the buyer.
