Vincent Kartheiser of ‘Mad Men’ seeks buyer for petite Hollywood pad
Vincent Kartheiser of “Mad Men” has listed his Hollywood bungalow at $808,000.
The 603-square-foot micro-home was featured last year in Dwell. At the center of the walled and gated lot of 2,325 square feet is a vintage bungalow that was built in 1912 and has been reworked into an open-concept pied-a-terre.
The modernist pad features a bed that tucks up into the ceiling when not in use. Its redwood headboard can become a desk. Storage closets and a full bathroom sit behind custom shoji-style fiberglass and steel screens.
Adjacent to the bedroom area is a courtyard that includes a covered seating area. A coffee table converts into an outdoor fireplace.
A detached spa contains showers, a steam room and a dry sauna. The ceiling is made of 2,500 pieces of individually carved wood. There’s also a laundry room and a powder room.
Kartheiser, 35, has played Pete Campbell on the AMC series “Mad Men” since it began in 2007. He was on “Angel” from 2002-04.
Tregg Rustad of Rodeo Realty is the listing agent.
