Prime Now, Amazon’s one-hour delivery service, comes to L.A.
Amazon.com has brought its one-hour delivery service, Prime Now, to Los Angeles and Orange County.
The e-commerce juggernaut said it has established three Prime Now hubs in L.A. and one in Orange County to fulfill Southern California orders. Customers can get products such as paper towels, milk, ice cream and TVs delivered to their door in 60 minutes.
In the next few days, Prime Now will also add deliveries from some local retailers, such as Sprinkles, Bristol Farms, Fresh & Easy, Sprouts, Erewhon and 99 Ranch Market.
Prime members can download the Prime Now app on their iOS or Android devices to use the service. In L.A., Prime Now is available from 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.
Two-hour delivery is free, and one-hour delivery is $7.99. Including L.A., Prime Now operates in 13 cities worldwide.
