Talk show host and football analyst Michael Strahan and his fiancee, television personality Nicole Murphy, have sold their Bel-Air home for $11 million in a one-week all-cash deal, The Times has learned.

The couple had planned to build their dream house on the 1-acre Bel-Air site, which they bought last year for $7.8 million, and had torn down most of the existing home. Trulia, which first caught wind of the sale, described the house as a 1926 “teardown” with Mediterranean influences.

Strahan, 41, co-hosts “Live! With Kelly and Michael.” The defensive end played for the New York Giants his entire NFL career, setting a record for sacks in a single season and retiring in 2008 after winning Super Bowl XLII. He starred in the 2009 TV series “Brothers.”

Bob Hurwitz of Hurwitz James Co. represented Strahan and Murphy. Josh Altman and Matt Altman of Hilton & Hyland/Christie’s International Real Estate represented the buyer in the off-market transaction.
