SAG Awards 2013: Join our discussion of the nominations

The nominations for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards are out, with the casts of “Lincoln,” “Les Miserables” and “Silver Linings Playbook” getting four apiece. What to make of it all? In addition to “Lincoln,” “Les Miz” and “SLP,” the casts of “Argo” and “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” picked up ensemble nominations Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, “Lincoln” also got nominations in the lead actor category for Daniel Day-Lewis, supporting actress for Sally Field and supporting actor for Tommy Lee Jones. “Les Miserables,” which won’t open till Christmas Day, earned nominations for lead actor Hugh Jackman, supporting actress Anne Hathaway and best stunt ensemble.

And “Silver Linings Playbook” saw lead actor Bradley Cooper, actress Jennifer Lawrence and supporting actor Robert De Niro receive nominations.

The SAG Awards nominations also are setting the stage for Thursday morning’s Golden Globes nominations and ultimately, the Academy Award nominations, which are to be announced Jan. 10.

The 19th Screen Actors Guild Awards take place Jan. 27 and will air on TNT and TBS from the Shrine Auditorium & Exposition Center in Los Angeles.
